What the website stores

• Your Discord user ID and display name, your website role and account status, and the date your website record was created.
• Internal case records entered by staff, including a subject, reporter, description, status, assigned staff member, private notes and timestamps. These records can include information relevant to the people involved.
• Application records already entered into the website, staff announcements, and an audit history of sign-ins and staff actions.
• Temporary sign-in records and limited security diagnostics, such as the stage and category of an unsuccessful sign-in.
• Forum discussions and replies you submit, their category and timestamps, and moderation history. Your Discord display name appears with your public posts; your Discord user ID is not included in public forum responses.
• Private forum reports, including your account association, category and reason, a snapshot of the reported post, timestamps, and staff resolution notes. These are available only to authorized forum moderators, administrators and the owner.

These records support access control, case handling, community administration and staff accountability. Staff should only enter information relevant to those purposes.

Discord sign-in and cookies

Discord sign-in confirms your identity and membership in the IGY6 server. This website requests your Discord identity and server membership; it does not request your Discord email address or password.

The website uses an essential sign-in cookie that expires after one hour and a temporary authorization cookie that expires after five minutes. Session records in the database contain token hashes. Discord access and refresh tokens are not stored in the website database or sent to browser code.

Your IP address is used to limit repeated sign-in attempts. Cloudflare also processes network information when serving and protecting the website. The current website does not include advertising or third-party analytics scripts.

Public forum

Anyone can read visible forum discussions. Posting requires Discord sign-in and verified IGY6 server membership. New forum members receive no staff permissions. Server membership is checked at sign-in; sessions expire after one hour.

Your messages and display name are public. Do not post private reports or personal details. Staff can lock discussions or hide content. Hidden content is retained for authorized staff review and moderation reasons stay in the staff audit, rather than the public forum. Forum content remains until staff review or removal; use private staff tickets for data requests.

Posting is limited to help prevent spam. Your account ID and last-post time are used to enforce that limit.

Private tickets and staff access

Membership applications, moderation appeals, and privacy or data-removal requests start through the IGY6 private staff-ticket system in Discord. You must join the server and follow its ticket instructions.

This website does not automatically import or archive Discord tickets. Staff may record relevant information in an internal case. Website staff records are available only to authorized staff according to their assigned permissions.

Retention and review

Staff manually review closed cases and their associated notes, and closed forum reports with their snapshots and resolution notes, after 90 days. Audit records are reviewed after 12 months, to decide what still needs to be retained or removed.

This is a manual review schedule, not an automatic deletion deadline. No automatic record deletion is enabled. Other website records remain stored until staff review or remove them. Expired sign-in records cannot authorize access and are cleaned up when subsequent sign-in attempts run.

To request access to, correction of, or removal of information held by the website, open a private staff ticket and identify the relevant account, case or report. Do not post personal details in shared channels.

Services used by IGY6

Cloudflare hosts the website and its database. Discord provides sign-in, server membership and the community ticket workflow. The IGY6 website does not execute Discord moderation commands.
